How to change your default browser

To make sure you have a default browser set to one of 2BuckTV's supported browsers, just follow the instructions below, based on your operating system.

       Windows 8
 
  • Scroll over to the far right side of your screen to bring up the side menu. Select Settings.
     
  • Click on Control Panel, then select Programs.
     


     

  • Click on Default Programs, then select Set your default programs.
     

  • Click on your preferred Internet browser in the left side bar and then click Set this program as default.

  • Click OK.



        Windows 7
 
  • Click on your start menu and select Control Panel.
     
  • Click on Programs.

  • Under Default Programs, click on Set your default programs.

  • You'll see a list of programs on the left side bar. Select your preferred default browser from the list, then click Set this program as default.
     
  • Click OK

     
       Windows XP
 
  • Click on your start menu and select Set Program Access and Defaults. This will open the Add or Remove Programs window.
     
  • Under Choose Configuration, select Custom. A list of all the default programs for Windows will pop up.
     
  • Find where is says Choose a default Web browser and select your preferred Web browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome or Safari).
     
  • Click OK.


        How to Set a Default Browser (Mac OS)
 
  • Click on Applications in the dock (Icon bar) and select Safari from the Applications menu.
     
  • Click on Safari in the top toolbar (located on the top left corner of your desktop screen) and select Preferences.
     
  • Under the General tab, click on the arrows in the box next to Default web browser:
     
  • Select your preferred default browser from the list.
